Don't have hours to spend at the gym? No problem, we can give you a 30 minute express workout. Got a bit longer? We can design you a program so suit.
What do you need from a club to get your own personal goals, or to keep fit, healthy and active?
You spend your first hour in the club with a trainer to receive a complimentary health check and personalised weights program. From there, you will have 2 more free sessions with a Club Trainer to take you through the cardio equipment, and to check that you are using correct technique and are comfortable using the equipment and finding your way around the club.
Every 6-8 weeks throughout your membership you can get a new program with a trainer, free of charge! This is important to keep getting your results, keeping your motivation and interest.
Join other like-minded ladies for the fun of Group Fitness! With music and experienced, enthusiastic instructors to inspire you and inject some fun and motivation in to your routine. Most classes cater for all levels of fitness, if you are unsure please ask at reception. Completely optional, 3 complimentary fitness tests per year to measure your progress. These tests are suitable if you've built up a reasonable level of fitness. Look at all aspects that make up your fitness - cardio, upper, lower and core strength, speed, power and flexibility. Have a look at the Group Fitness timetable for dates and times - book at reception.
Pregnancy Yoga - a weekly class where traditional yoga poses are modified for the safety and comfort of the pregnant woman and her baby. To enhance strength and confidence in preparation for labour and delivery, releiving tension in the lower back and shoulders, improving posture, stability and balance, restore sleep and reduce fatigue!
In a relaxed, comfortable, friendly atmosphere you will learn breathing exercises to increase calm and focus, gentle stretches to strengthen and open the body, and relaxation techniques to release tension and promote wellbeing of yourself and baby. The class is limited in numbers and tailored to meet your needs, and is a great opportunity to connect and network with other new mums - to - be. No experience or membership is neccessary, contact us for more info.
Mum's N Bub's is a time for new mums to exercise without having to put baby into child care! You can start exercising 4-6 weeks after having your wee one, allowing for a new mum to regain strength, flexibility, tone and start to get that pre pregnancy body back! Exercises involve swiss balls, dyna bands, and hand weights, some conditioning, some pelvic floor/abdominal exercises, and some cardio/fitness. Run as a small group (up to 10), you and your baby will enjoy a class with other recent new mums, baby buggies welcome! No membership is needed for this course.
